My partner and I stayed there for 5 days in June. 1 day (!) Before our departure we had to move to another room because our balcony room had already been booked by another couple for 2 (!) Nights 1 year earlier. So always ask when booking whether you can keep the room for the duration of your stay. The food in the inn itself was good and plentiful.

Yummy! Great Franconian cuisine. You get really full and it tastes great. We had the schnitzel and the fried pikeperch fillet. Highly recommended. Definitely reserve a table, the inn is well attended.

Near Weißenstadt / Bischofsgrün. Great food. Ideal for excursions in summer (Weißenstadt with lake) and in winter (Ochsenkopf, Fichtelberg). Rooms are good middle-class. Breakfast delicious and sufficient.

Room simple, but the food is excellent and deserves 5 stars. Therefore, this review is mixed. In addition, the location is beautiful, start and end point for nice trips in the area. Staff very friendly. Room in '80s style, but bathroom seems recently partially renovated. Especially the old lamps and the wooden ceiling remind on earlier. No hair dryer. All clean. The retro furniture in the room would fit Biberbettenwäsche :-) cotton is smooth, but the sheet terry, well not my thing. Bed creaks. Pillow seems new, but the cover must be renewed urgently. Very good mattress. At certain times, the TV will turn off every few seconds, especially in the morning. Actually very quiet, but as long as the restaurant is open, you can hear the plate clattering through the door, or other guests in the hallway. The breakfast is very good and in the beautiful restaurant. Especially the homemade jams are to be highlighted. For me, but especially the restaurant is worth a visit. Tip: Barbecue buffet Thursdays! Well visited, reserve a seat. The 4.90 Euro package are a minimum order from the buffet and will not be added, so very cheap. Outside large playground for children. The room I did not find cheap for the category and my taste, I would only recommend because of the location, but there are no serious flaws.

Cozy country inn with regional cuisine. Beautiful summer terrace that invites you to linger. Suitable for family celebrations. Unfortunately, no WLAN is actually no longer possible for a restaurant with an overnight stay ??
